Our mission is to be a recognized leader in the cooling and heating industry. Our goals are to provide responsive service and a high level of customer satisfaction by developing long-term relations.

Company History

Green Valley Cooling & Heating was founded in 1968. We have 40+ years experience in HVAC Services and Air Quality Investigations. We have grown from a one man operation to an experienced staff of over 25. Our office and shop are located at 880 W. Camino Casa Verde in the heart of Green Valley. We are licensed, bonded and insured. We specialize in the installation and service of cooling and heating equipment. Our company has devoted significant resources to indoor air quality services and we currently have staff with certifications as Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist, and all of our team members are certified as healthy air specialists.

We are the first dealer in Arizona to receive the Bryant Factory Authorized designation. Green Valley Cooling is a four time winner of the Bryant Gold Medal of Excellence. Over the past two years the company has achieved a 99.5% rating in total customer satisfaction from customer completed surveys. In 2007 the company was awarded the Top Award for Ethics in Business by the Southern Arizona BBB. We also won the Arizona Small Business Associations Top Customer Service award for southern Arizona and won the Green Valley Chamber of Commerce Business of the Year Award.

The Team

Ethan Beneze graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Architecture. Ethan also has an associate degree in Heating and Air Conditioning. He holds a Healthy Air Specialist Certification and has extensive experience in a broad range of IAQ investigations. Ethan is the president of Green Valley Cooling & Heating.

Mike Bartoletti has been with Green Valley Cooling & Heating for 24 years. He attended the University of Arizona and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Mike is a certified Healthy Air Specialist. He is also NATE certified, which is one of the highest HVAC certificates in North America. Mike is vice president and general manager.

Bob Burkholder has over 17 years experience in the cooling and heating industry. Bob graduated from Lincoln Technical Institute where he majored in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, and Heating Technology. He has more than 10 years experience in Systems design, including Manual J Heat loss/gain calculations, Duct Design and Modifications. Bob holds certifications from NATE, Healthy Air Specialist, Bacharach for Carbon Monoxide and Combustion Safety the EPA, Washington Gas and the Commonwealth of VA. Bob is the Vice President of Sales.

Tim Bell has certifications as a Healthy Air Specialist and Air Quality Specialist. He is a certified Council Indoor Environmentalist. A CIE is knowledgeable and experienced in three or more disciplines related to indoor air quality that include HVAC, building science, microbial issues, lead/asbestos or industrial hygiene/toxicology. Tim is also NATE certified. Tim is one of our senior service technicians and has training and experience in microbial testing.

Terry Pignato has certifications as a healthy air specialist, combustion analysis as well as being NATE certified. Terry has been in the HVAC industry for over 14 years. He is one of our senior service technicians.

Anthony Velasquez has been in the Cooling & Heating industry for over ten years. He has many certificates. He is certified in Puron, EPA, & Nate. Tony is also a certified Healthy Air Specialist.

Brandy Grinnell has over 10 years experience in Customer Relations and product satisfaction. Brandy is a certified Healthy Air Specialist, certified indoor air specialist, and has extensive training in IAQ. She is currently working on becoming a certified CIE. Brandy specializes in IAQ Data Analysis and manages the day to day IAQ operations.

Steve Sitter has been with Green Valley Cooling & Heating for over 33 years. He has an AA degree in Mechanical Systems. He was instrumental in developing the staff and promoting the customer service skills used by the employees today. He is a certified Healthy Air Specialist and certified Council Indoor Environmentalist. Steve is a senior service technician and IAQ consultant.

Our Team

Our team members are the foundation of our company. Our staff has a combined total of 325 years experience. Many of our team members have been with us for over ten years. This longevity is unheard of in this industry. The company has made a commitment to increasing the skills of our team. We have contracted with the North American Technician Excellence (NATE) to certify our technicians, NATE is an independent organization that tests and certifies competence and the skills of service technicians. 100% of our service technicians are NATE certified. All of our team members hold certifications from the EPA and as healthy air specialists.
