Our company was founded in 1968 and has been serving the Green Valley area for 37 years.
Do you use your own installation specialists or do you hire subcontractors?
We use only our own technical specialists on all jobs.
What professional organizations do you belong to?
We belong to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), and the Southern Arizona Mechanical Contractors Association (SAMCA).
Besides my equipment warranty, what other guarantees do you provide?
30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you’re not happy with your new system, and we can’t satisfy you, we’ll remove your new equipment and give you a complete refund for up to 30 days.
Is the maintenance agreement expensive?
The cost of your agreement can pay for itself after just one service call. Your agreement covers all labor, you will only have to pay for parts.
Do you provide 24-hour service?
Yes, 7 days a week.
Is there an additional charge for 24-hour service?
We do charge a nominal fee for after-hours service, waived for our Maintenance Agreement customers.
Who will be working on my equipment?
One of our qualified technicians will be working on your equipment. We do not use subcontractors.
What’s the longest I’d have to wait for service during your busiest period?
One day.
Do you stock parts on your trucks for heating and cooling?
We have an extensive parts inventory on each truck. If we don’t have the part, we are usually able to get it the same day.
Are there any deductibles?
No
When will you be servicing my equipment?
We will schedule service calls three times a year. Each service call will be four months apart.
I am not a full time resident, will I miss a call when I’m out of town?
No, We will reschedule your call.
How long will it take you to come out and give me an estimate?
We can come out at your convenience. We can be there today if you’d like.
Will I get cleaner air by shutting up my house and running my central air conditioner or heating system, or by opening up my house as much as possible to let in fresh air?
As you might suspect, this depends primarily on the quality of air outside your home, the quality of air inside your home, and your home’s indoor comfort equipment. Indoor air quality varies greatly from building to building. Factors may include everything from emissions by the materials used in your home’s construction, to the kind of cleaning products you use for personal and household needs, to possibly even radon from the ground or water in some areas.
Optimum air quality is a matter of personal preference. When is it best to air out the home, and when is it best to rely primarily on the cooling/heating equipment?
Research on indoor air quality is gaining momentum, but it may be years before comprehensive analysis of the spectrum of variables affecting indoor air quality is widely available to households nationwide. Using a high efficiency air cleaner on the central cooling/heating system remains one of the best ways to help maintain a clean indoor environment. High efficiency air cleaners can remove particles smaller than the eye can see.
Do you perform duct cleanings?
Yes we do. We remove and clean all the registers, clean all the system ducts, clean plenum, clean or replace filter, coat & seal duct insulation with polymer duct sealer, test HVAC system before and after cleaning and documentation of cleaning with before and after video tape recording.
What is Puron?
Puron is a refrigerant that contains no chlorine and is now widely recognized as the replacement for Freon 22 in new air conditioners. As of 2010 manufacturing of new air conditioners with Freon 22 is prohibited. All newly manufactured air conditioners after 2010 will all use Puron instead of Freon22. It will be prohibited by law to produce any new air conditioning unit using Freon 22.
What does the phase out of Freon 22 mean to me?
Considering that the life expectancy of a home air conditioner can be 15 to 20 years, a new air conditioner purchased now can be expected to last well into the phase-out period. That means homeowners who purchase a Freon 22 system may likely see repair cost rise substatially over its lifetime. For more information please see the Puron website.
